NOTICE is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Ontario Women’s Liberal Commission of Nepean to elect the Executive Officers, consider proposed constitutional amendments, and conduct the annual business of the Association.

Meeting Date: Sunday, June 28, 2026
Meeting Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Meeting Location: Royal Canadian Legion – Barrhaven Branch
3500 Fallowfield Road, Nepean, ON K2J 4A7

Elections

Elections will take place for the following positions on the association executive:

a) President
b) Vice-President
c) Secretary
d) Treasurer
e) Membership Secretary
f) Directors (3)

Eligibility to Vote (Membership Cutoff)

You are eligible to vote at this AGM if you:

• Self-identify as a female; and
• Are a member of the Ontario Liberal Party by 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Registration for Voting

To register to vote, please bring your identification to the AGM on June 28, 2026.

Option 1: ONE government-issued ID with your photo, name, and current address (examples: driver’s licence, Ontario photo card)

OR

Option 2: TWO pieces of ID:

• One issued by a widely recognized major institution (government, financial institution, etc.); and
• One issued by a widely recognized major institution showing your name and current address (e.g. bank or credit card statement, utility bill, tax assessment).

Standing for a Position on the Ontario Women’s Liberal Commission Executive

If you are interested in standing for any of the above positions, you must notify the Secretary of the Ontario Liberal Party in writing by sending an email to intents@ontarioliberal.ca with the subject line “Intention to Stand – Nepean WPLA” no later than 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Your email must indicate which position you would like to stand for.
