Proposed Constitution
At the AGM, members will be asked to consider and vote on a proposed new constitution for the Brantford—Brant Provincial Liberal Association before the election of the executive committee.
The proposed constitution would reduce the number of Director positions on the executive committee from twenty-five (25) to eleven (11). A copy of the proposed constitution is included with this notice.
As the proposed constitution has not yet been adopted, elections are being called for the positions established under the association’s current constitution:

b) an Executive Vice-President;
c) a Secretary;
d) a Treasurer; and
e) twenty-five (25) Directors.
If the proposed constitution is adopted at the AGM, the executive election will proceed under the new constitution and eleven (11) Directors will be elected. If more than eleven (11) valid intentions to stand for Director are received, an election will be held for those positions.
If the proposed constitution is not adopted, the executive election will proceed under the current constitution, which provides for twenty-five (25) Director positions.
